Buying clothes as gifts is risky. Sizes, taste, colour. Here is a simple guide to choosing well, without needing to guess too much.

Under £30: small but thoughtful
A cap. The safest clothing gift there is. One size fits most with an adjustable strap, and black goes with everything. Our Noir Heritage Cap is £25.
A gift card. If you really are not sure, let them choose. It is a gift, not a cop-out, when it is for something they will love.
£30 to £60: solid choices
Sweatpants. Comfort sells itself. Go a standard size, plain colour, and they are hard to get wrong. Our Amoure Sweatpants are £55.
A tee. A good graphic or plain heavy cotton tee is easy to wear and easy to love.
£60 to £75: the main event
A hoodie. A heavier cotton hoodie is the gift that gets worn on repeat. Our Amoure Hoodie is £65.
A zip jacket. For someone who dresses sharper. A plain black one works with work clothes and weekend clothes. Our Core Zip Jacket is £65.
How to pick the size
- Ask a friend or partner what they usually wear
- Check a piece they already own and compare measurements to the size chart
- If in doubt, go for the larger size in hoodies and jackets. Loose fits are more forgiving.
