Streetwear started as a way of dressing. Hoodies, caps, trainers, graphic tees. Comfortable, confident, a bit loud. Over time the best of it grew up.
That is where elevated streetwear comes in.
So what does "elevated" actually mean?
It is not about charging more or using fancy words. For us it comes down to three things.
Better fabric. Heavier cotton, cleaner knits, materials that hold their shape after a hundred wears instead of ten.
Cleaner cuts. Fits that look considered. Shoulders that sit right, lengths that work, details that are small and deliberate instead of shouting.
Thought behind it. A reason the piece exists, and a brand that stands for something beyond the logo.
How it differs from regular streetwear
Regular streetwear can be about hype, drops and being seen. Elevated streetwear still has the comfort and the attitude, but it works in more places. You can wear the same zip jacket to the shop, to the office over a shirt and tie, or out in the evening.
It is streetwear you do not have to change out of.
How to wear it
Keep the base simple and let one piece do the talking.
- A black zip jacket over a crisp white shirt
- A cream knit with dark trousers
- A cap with tailored layers, worn low and kept clean
- Sweatpants with a structured jacket instead of a matching hoodie
Pick quiet colours, keep the fit right, and avoid piling on too many statements at once.
Why we call ourselves elevated streetwear
At More Amoure (Ma.) we make pieces to be lived in. They are comfortable and easy, but made with care, and 10% of every profit goes to our social impact work, More Action. We think the way you dress can say something about what you care about, quietly.
If you are new to us, start with the pieces people love most in our shop and read the story behind the brand on our About page.
MORE LUV.
