MORE LUV is our slogan and our sign off. It means we want to put more love, care and kindness into what we make and how we treat people.
Where it came from
It is short on purpose. "Luv" is how you might sign off a text to a mate or a message to family, and it sounds like a real person, not a brand. It suits a Manchester brand.
What does it actually mean?
It is a reminder, mostly to ourselves. More love in how we treat customers. More care in how we make things. More action in how we use the brand to help others. It is not complicated, which is the point.
How does it show up?
You will see it in a few places:
- The sign off at the end of our posts
- Our socks, which are called More Luv Socks
- How we reply to messages
- Our giving through More Action
The socks are a small way to wear it. You can find More Luv Socks, 3 pairs for £15.
Is it just a slogan?
We hope not. We give 10 percent of profit to causes, and we are supported by The King's Trust. The words matter more when something sits behind them. Read why we give 10 percent of profit if you want the detail.
How can you use it?
However you like. Say it to a friend, put it at the end of a message, or just remember it on a rough day. If you want the bigger story behind the brand, start with what is More Amoure.
Why bother with a sign off?
Because small things add up. A kind word costs nothing and can change how someone feels. That is a big part of what we are trying to build in Manchester and beyond.
Can brands really care?
Some do and some only say they do. The honest answer is that you can judge by what a brand does when nobody is watching. For us that means giving a share of profit, replying properly and being straight about what we know and do not know. We are not perfect, and we are still learning as we grow. But we would rather try to do good in small, steady ways than shout about it. If you see us falling short, tell us. That is part of the deal too.
From all of us here: MORE LUV. Have a look at the shop when you are ready.
MORE LUV.
